Notice: The new PirateCard ID card system
is currently in the process of being installed and configured. Most, but not all
of the features described on this web site will be available immediately.

Your Passport to Armstrong Atlantic State University
The PirateCard is the official identification card for Armstrong Atlantic State
University. Students, faculty, staff and select guests are eligible to receive a
PirateCard. The PirateCard is required for official identification purposes for
the university and serves as a personal passport to many of the services offered
on campus.
All students, faculty, staff and guests are required to carry their PirateCard at
all times while on the Armstrong Atlantic State University campus.
The PirateCard is for personal use only and is non-transferable. Only the
cardholder may present the PirateCard for purchases and other privileges. The
PirateCard will be confiscated if presented by someone other than the cardholder
or if the card is involved in inappropriate or illegal use. Fraudulent use of
the card will result in disciplinary action or penalties.
The PirateCard may be obtained at the PirateCard Office, Memorial College
Center (MCC) on the second floor in room 214. A government photo ID, such as a
driver's license or passport, and AASU ID number must be presented upon issuance
of a PirateCard.

Mission Statement
In order to successfully build an interactive, dynamic, and welcoming campus
environment for the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Armstrong Atlantic
State University; the mission of the PirateCard Office is to maintain a secure
campus identification card program, which provides exceptional service in order
to increase campus access, campus security, financial security, and convenience.
Student Learning Outcomes:
As a result of utilizing the PirateCard services, students will:

Develop a better understanding of personal finance management and demonstrate increased personal
financial responsibility.
