Can I take the Georgia Constitution test to replace the HIST/POLS 1100 course?

Every student has four legislative requirements that deal with History/Political Science. Some students transfer courses to AASU that fulfill part of these requirements. The Georgia Constitution test only fulfills one of these legislative requirements. CLEP exams and/or classes can fulfill the rest. Contact your advisor to discuss what you need to fulfill these requirements. If testing is the option you desire, contact the Office of Testing. at 344-2582.

Can I CLEP out of any of my classes?

Anyone can take any CLEP test at AASU. It is recommended that you check with your advisor on the acceptance of the exams. For more information on the exams, including study materials and scheduling, go to Testing.

A withdrawal occurs when you withdraw from ALL of your classes. Currently, a complete withdrawal is handled through the Division of Student Affairs. Soon, we will have the procedure available on line (through specific dates at the beginning of a semester only). Otherwise, withdrawals are processed through Student Affairs.
