Credit by Examination

Did you know? Armstrong Atlantic State University will grant up to one-fourth of the credit required in a college degree for satisfactory completion of selected examinations and/or accredited college-level independent study (correspondence) courses?

Examinations currently recognized for college-level credit at AASU are in the following testing programs: College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST), and Independent and Distance Learning Exams.

There is a $15 service fee required for all proctored examinations. This fee is due in advance of test date to secure the appointment.
