Credit by Examination

Did you know? Armstrong Atlantic State University will grant up to one-fourth of the credit required in a college degree for satisfactory completion of selected examinations and/or accredited college-level independent study (correspondence) courses?

Examinations currently recognized for college-level credit at AASU are in the following testing programs: College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST), and Independent and Distance Learning Exams.

There is a $25 service fee required for all proctored examinations. This fee is due in advance of test date to secure the appointment. Registration forms are required at least one week before the administration of an exam. Registrations forms can be obtained in the "Forms" section of this website.
