CLEP

Any individual wishing to receive credit for a college-level class may take any CLEP exam at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Test registration forms are available at the Student Affairs Office Room 211, Memorial College Center or you can retrieve a copy from AASU’s Testing Services webpage at CLEP Registration Form. There is a $25 non-refundable proctoring fee (Payable to AASU) for each test and a CLEP test fee of $70 per test. For students who take the CLEP exam for College Freshman Composition and Analyzing & Interpreting Literature an additional essay ($10 payable to AASU) is required for credit to be received. Degree-seeking students in the Sixty-two Plus Program may obtain a waiver of the service fee from the Assistant Dean for Adult Academic Services, Victor Hall.

* Georgia Government Examination is required to satisfy state requirement for US & GA government.
** A "clearly passing" essay as well as passing score on objective test is required for credit.
(a) Grade of C or better in 2001 language course is required before credit is awarded.
(b) Grade of C or better in 3000-level language course is required before credit is awarded.

CLEP exams are given EVERY Wednesday at 1:00pm. Call the Student Affairs Office to Schedule an appointment at (912) 344-2582.
