Measure of Academic Proficiency and ProgressThis test is a graduation requirement. What is it? The Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress is a test of academic knowledge and skills acquired through undergraduate general education courses. The test is a graduation requirement and is used to asses university goals described in the AASU catalog as general education outcomes. CAUTION: The MAPP does not substitute for your exit exam in your major field. Consult your academic advisor or department head about other examinations required for graduation. What does it cover? The Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress (MAPP) test is a measure of college-level reading, mathematics, writing, and critical thinking in the context of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. If focuses on the academic skills developed through general education courses, rather than on the knowledge acquired about the subjects taught in these courses. How and when do I pay the fee?
