Mid-town Savannah

Our mid-town program offers the convenience of being centrally located in the city while providing easy access to the historic district, just 8 miles away, by either public transportation or your own private vehicle. There are a wide variety of restaurants and shopping centers in the very immediate vicinity of your comfortable, renovated motel.

The Oglethorpe Inn & Suites offers spacious mini-suite-style rooms with separate seating, sleeping, and dining areas as well as a coffeemaker, microwave, and mini fridge. Some amenities include free high speed internet access, an outdoor pool, and an exercise room; ample free parking is also available. A limited number of smoking rooms are available upon request. Please click on the hotel's website link below for more details, directions, and photos. In addition, www.mapquest.com is an excellent resource for driving directions.

There is no free transportation available from the airport. Cab fare from Savannah/Hilton Head International is approximately $40 each way for one person with a $5.00 charge for each extra rider. Please note: due to increasing fuel prices, cab fares may fluctuate and cannot be guaranteed; call ahead for current rates. A private vehicle is recommended to best explore the area on free time.
