Historic Savannah

Centuries of Savannah surround you at our Historic site. The courses capitalize on the wealth of history, culture, and commerce lying just outside the door of your hotel. Be prepared for moderate walking as you experience program venues and restaurants throughout Savannah's Landmark Historic District.

The Historic Courtyard Marriott is a completely smoke-free hotel that is beautifully decorated and very conveniently located just off of I-16. Rooms are furnished with either a King size or two queen size beds.

Valet parking is available for an extra fee; however, a secured, free, self-parking lot is available to Elderhostel participants approximately two blocks from the hotel. Some amenities that are available include an outdoor pool, exercise room, and free internet access. Please click on the hotel's website link below for more details, directions, and photos. In addition, www.mapquest.com is an excellent resource for driving directions.

There is no free transportation available from the airport. Cab fare from Savannah/Hilton Head International is approximately $25 each way for one person with a $5.00 charge for each extra rider. There is also a shuttle service available for a fee, through Grayline Airport Express; please refer to their website at www.graylineairportexpress.com
