Mission Statement

Mission Statement

AASU's University Counseling Center provides services to help students develop the insight and ability to overcome personal problems and learn the coping skills they need to succeed in meeting their academic goals. Students will be helped to overcome emotional and behavioral obstacles, set goals and appreciate their own identity and culture of origin.

Student Learning Outcomes
  • Students will learn to improve their problem solving and coping skills.
  • Students will improve their decision making and goal setting skills.
  • Students will achieve greater insight and understanding of self.
